The substance of Moret’s work is found within its culture and experience, and through the interaction of different professionalism, technology and modern enterprise.
The deep knowledge behind the quality of the aesthetic and of the materials, developed by Hasan Pashamoglu and Maddalena De Robertis – who are a couple in life and partners at work, with over thirty-five years of experience in the field of fine rugs – gave birth to the Company, which is based in Vicenza and Milan.
Moret has been guided in this deep knowledge, in the past few years, also by Deniz Pashamoglu, son of Hasan and Maddalena, developing in the sign of contemporary Made in Italy. This thanks to a close relationship with artists, designers and architects with whom it realises tailor made collections and projects for private houses, shops, showrooms, hotels, golf clubs, yacht and jet all over the world.
The numerous collections that were realised in the years are a witness to the Company’s versatility.
If Happy Carpets designed by Aldo Cibic, for example, were successful thanks to their playful iconographic element in its many refined nuances of colour, the rugs from the Cleto Munari and Friends collection have proved that Moret has a productive ability and is trustworthy.
Moret has, in fact, interpreted the vision of masters such as Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Dario Fo, Cleto Munari, Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Mocchetti, Mario Botta, Sandro Chia, Cleto Munari, Mimmo Paladino, Javier Mariscal as well as the youngest but not less poetical Deisa Centazzo – in a kaleidoscope of intensity and beauty.
In the most recent collection, Freedom, designed by Samuela Mazza, Moret has experimented by incorporating a chain made with precious finishes, developing in such way an innovative interaction between jewel and carpet. Finally, with the low-relief theme, studied together with Diego Chilò for the Magic Collection, which was obtained by means of modulating the heights of the different weaves, has opened a new element of composition in the contemporary carpet.
