Moret embraces Aldo Cibic's idea of reflecting on the chain of life, with its plant, animal and human kingdoms. The movements within each realm build a story, reflecting the desire to present a narrative made up of relationships. Visual impact was the element on which the bet was made. In this new collection, Moret and Aldo Cibic emphasise the tactility of the carpet and its possible three-dimensionality, making these carpets more of a sculpture than a surface to be walked on. One notices that the decorations, once motifs referring to ancient traditions, have become in these carpets plant motifs which, like the others, always have an abstract or surrealistic trait. Each symbol and character brings with it a story that opens up different imaginations. In Bongo Dance, the mix of precious materials such as linen for the field and Eleganza yarn for the patterns creates high and low relief effects and specific and unexpected light reflections that give the carpets different colours and shades, depending on the position of the observer.
