The code of Italian design can be read, the ironic touch and timeless elegance can be sensed, a slow and precious manufacture that pays homage to the magic of light that the waterways animate in the eighteenth-century Venetian and Tuscan palaces can be admired. Silks and wools, woven and inlaid, create effects of light and dark, and high and low relief: a continuous tonal vibration that is emphasised and enriched by small, hammered metal plates.
